Now This is What I’m Talkin’ About!  Thank you OCAR!!

The Orange County Association of REALTORS® has launched a campaign to educate condominium associations as to the benefits of getting the association approved with FHA and the VA.  Amazingly, this is the same message that I have been working to deliver for the past several years.

They just did it better!

OCAR estimates that only 30% of the condominiums in our country are approved with FHA and even fewer with the VA.  This means that more than 2/3 of the condominiums are not available for purchase by FHA and VA buyers.

The short video below was developed for California but it really applies to every state in the country.

Way to go OCAR!

By the way, I am what OCAR terms as an "Independent FHA Approval Facilitator".

The Condominium Project Approval Team at ReadySetLoan is dedicated to helping condominium projects across the nation to obtain their approvals with FHA and the VA or become recertified with FHA.  We have assisted nearly 200 condominiums and we can help your association.

I agree, George.  Thank you for watching it and for your call this morning.

Eric, In my area very few condo associations are FHA or VA approved. If only the board and the homeowners truly understood the benefit of these approvals I feel more would spend the money for approvals and renewals.

Kathleen - I agree with you.  I run into many associations that object to getting approved, primarily due to misconceptions of what FHA is and concerns that it will be too much work or cost too much.

Eric

That's a big step in the right direction.

Good luck and success.

Good morning Eric. It is hard to understand why more associations done get their complexes approved, especially when they can get approved. Extremely frustrating  for both of us.

Make it a great weekend!

It is just dumb of associations not being FHA/VA approved Eric.

Thank you Lou

You got that right, Joe

I would use "ignorant", Conrad.  Most don't have accurate information.
